YXE Urban Games Team Bouldering Event

Get ready to climb hard, cheer loud, and compete as a team at this one-of-a-kind bouldering competition, hosted by Grip It Climbing Nelson in collaboration with the YXE Urban Games.
Team Format
Climb as a duo! Teams can consist of:
2 Men
2 Women
Mixed Gender/Non-Binary
Choose your category based on your climbing level: To Register Click On the Category Below
Qualification Rounds
8:00 AM – 10:30 AM → Beginner Teams
11:00 AM – 1:30 PM → Intermediate Teams
2:00 PM – 4:30 PM → Advanced Teams
Each climber’s top 4 climbs will be combined for a team total. The top teams in each category will advance to an exciting finals round… with a twist!
Finals: 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Expect the unexpected as finalists face a unique challenge to close out the day. Stick around afterward for prizes and awards!

$25 per climber (includes comp entry + YXE Urban Games pass)
Bounty Boulder Challenge (Optional)
Test your limits on the Bounty Boulder — hosted on the Kilter Board.
Here’s the twist:
The problem gets steeper as the round goes on.
Top the boulder? You move on to the next steeper version.
Last climber standing wins the bounty pot!
Contribute to the bounty pool during registration for your chance to compete in this progressive challenge!
